Dayna Hanson

A Guggenheim, United States Artists and MacDowell Fellow, Dayna Hanson’s minor-key body of work spans three decades and multiple disciplines. With Gaelen Hanson, Dayna co-directed internationally touring dance theater company 33 Fainting Spells from 1994–2006. Her own performances have been presented by On the Boards, RedCat, Fusebox and others. Dayna’s films have screened at New York Film Festival, South by Southwest and many more. Her episode of HBO’s Room 104 was ranked one of the top television episodes of 2017 by The New York Times and Vox. Dayna is co-founder of Base, an arts space in Seattle.
